Writing is my lifelong passion and reporting news drives my soul. I'm a graduate of James Madison University who studied Media Arts and Design and Political Communications. Although my concentration is in written journalism, my skillset includes photography and graphic design skills as well.

I’m a very dedicated person with experience in multiple mediums of journalism. I am a quick learner and enjoy exploring new ways of reporting news through social media and other tools.

I’m looking for a challenge to advance and expand my experience in the media arts. I’m dependable, creative and passionate about media. My leadership qualities serve me well in helping to stay organized and energetic about new projects. I have experience using Microsoft Word, Google Drive, iMovie, GarageBand and the Adobe Suite but can learn other programs quickly. I’m versed in editing and shooting video and audio.
